Minister charges SIP monitors on dedication | The Guardian Nigeria News - Nigeria and World News


The Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Abubakar, has charged independent monitors from Jigawa State, trained under the National Social Intervention Programme (NSIP), to be dedicated to their jobs. She spoke at the presentation of engagement letters and distribution of tablets to trained monitors in Dutse. On the programme, the minister stated: “We welcome you all to the flag-off of the distribution of engagement letters and tablets to trained independent monitors of NSIP. On February 4, 2021, about 5,000 independent monitors were trained in Abuja for NSIP. A mop up training was organised zonally from March 25 to April 1, 2021 to provide the monitors that missed the initial training another opportunity.
